Jackie Bowes is a multidisciplinary Chicago-based actor, director, & musician. Born and raised in Washington, D.C. on punk music and politics, Jackie strives to make art that is both socially and emotionally impactful. In May of 2017 she graduated (with honors!) from Boston University, with a BFA in Theatre Arts and a concentration in Musical Theatre. Jackie has also studied at improvOlympic, the Acting Studio Chicago, and the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland.

Jackie loves making music with her band Sad Girls Clubteaching yoga, and playing highly competitive board games.

Most recently, Jackie performed in the workshop production of Breaker, directed and produced by Jamie Olah. Breaker is a new devised play using movement and visual spectacle to examine cumulative post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in law enforcement. More info can be found here.

Jackie completed Janelle Snow’s on camera acting class at Acting Studio Chicago, and is currently in Level 3 at improvOlympic with Katie Klein.
